Project overview
Wifaqul Ulama serves Muslims in the UK and other regions where standard prayer calculations can be inaccurate because of latitude and daylight-saving changes.
The app brings prayer schedules, Qibla, Hijri dates, reminders, moon-sighting updates, and educational resources together.
The challenge
Prayer calculations had to remain accurate across location, timezone, daylight-saving, and travel changes.
Several time-sensitive services needed to remain understandable and dependable in one mobile experience.
The solution
Integrated the PrayTimes engine with supported calculation methods and location-aware daily refresh.
Used timezone services and device location to keep schedules aligned as users travel.
